It just occurred to me: A kid can be a slang for a young child, or it is a young goat. So you could be feeding your pet to a goat...

There is another thread that strangely parallels this one.

I vote feed kids, however if you have properly prepared, butchering your pets would be an absolute last resort.

Have you guys been watching "The Road"? These threads are getting a bit dark......

I suspected this from the original post. Based on a number of threads in GD lately I say keep the loyal, hard working, useful one around for SHTF.

The pet gets fed.

in all acuality the dog would be more usefull in that scenario
