Best way to stop pop ups ads on my desktop

First use FireFox, it will stop most of them right there. Next, run an ewido online scan for now.

www.ewido.net/en/ click on scan now of course.

From browsing the web? If so, Firefox with Adblock Plus and Filterset.G Updater works for me.

For the later, just turn off instant manager in the Admit tools panel.
