hmm. can't say i've ever tasted pork chili. i'd toss some bacon in there.
i once had a really soupy bowl of chili at a diner in grad forks, nd. i'm not sure if you could really call it chili. seemed more like minestrone. however, you're supposed to crumble the stack of saltines into it and load it with the the bowls of sour cream and cheddar on the side. it's not spicy by far. i asked for some tabasco. they didn't have anything near it on hand. the closest thing was pepper or ketchup. however, it was a hearty lunch. |

Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: When did people forget that these things are called stew? Chili is beef and peppers. When you add a bunch of other crap it stops being chili. but this isn't stew Yes it is. Traditional versions are made, minimally, from chili peppers, meat, garlic, onions, and cumin, along with chopped or ground beef well this has pork instead of beef, because its pork chili. it has peppers, garlic, onions and cumin in it. added is tomatoes and corn. and we all know that beans are required for chili. |

actually Chilli in its purest form should be made from a combo if Venison and Pork with no fillers like beans or corn. |
