So I was looking for a RC car, and found a nice used one on one of the RC forums for a fair price. Seller seems legit, has positive feedback on two different RC car boards and has been on both of them for a while.

Problem is he wants me to send paypal as a gift, so he doesn't have to pay fees. And from my bank account, so he doesn't have the CC fees.

I'm leery of doing this because if he stiffs me, I'm thinking that if I call paypal, they would say tough shit, it was a gift. And since it would be a bank xfer, there would be no CC to call and reverse charges.

What say the horde?

Paypal sucks. Get a postal money order or move on.

You're absolutely correct –– you're about to get scammed.

How will that help?
