I just looked up and snapped this from my phone while standing in my backyard. I'm kind of shocked that it turned out like it did. Attachment Attached File

Danger noodle I saw on a hike with the dogs today. I think he just wanted some belly scratches.
Good thing I saw it before the dogs did.
He moved on out of the way and we continued our hike.

The missus in her restored CJ2A. We got the jeep from her father. It was in very rough condition.

There used to be an electric trolly that ran from Denison, Texas to Dallas back in the day. The city found two railcars in a barn many years ago and tried to restore them. It ended up being a bigger project than they could handle financially. They combined the best parts of a freight car and a passenger car for presentation and came up with this. The trains ran for almost 50 years and there are still tracks embedded in many of the local streets.

After several years of gathering art and restoring antique lights, I finally put up scaffolding and brought in some help to get things up.

This needs a dimmer, but I ran out of time.

Very difficult to find neogothic, hand carved grotesque chandelier.  Had it shipped in from Belgium but rewired it.  Managed to keep the original porcelain sockets.

Clear skies and free time lined up for me to have another practice session of Astrophotography.

87 -One Minute exposures stacked of part of the Heart Nebula.
Apparently my camera isn't wide enough to capture the whole thing lol

Anyways, still such a noob when it comes to this stuff and even more so stacking and editing the data.

Very nice!  Instead of a dimmer, how about some of these?  There are videos if you scroll down.

I looked into those and couldn't bite the bullet.  I do need the art consistently lit, but the light was a non-electrified candleholder before we drilled and restored it, so the candle flicker bulbs were a consideration.

I found some single-pole dimmers that work for incandescent and LEDs without a transformer or anything, so the dimmer isn't the hassle it used to be!
