Yes, especially the older Smiths.  So hard to pick just one favorite, but I've always loved the look of the 586/686.  I'm on my 4th and wish I'd never sold the other 3!

Well I don’t know yet if it’ll be my favorite, but it’s my most recent and it’s damn nice.

.22 LR Model 18-3 made in 1977

Edit, no idea what’s up with my pic. Apparently S&W made guns upside down in 1977.

My edc is mine. So easy to shoot. The DA is 8.5lbs. I can draw and hit 10x12 steel at 30 yards like nothing.

Custom engraving by the late & legendary Nick Kusmit (RIP).

Red stag antler grips.

I have several classic Smiths, but this is my Ab Fab.

It changes. Three weeks ago it was the unfired 25-3 I bought in .45 Colt. Two weeks ago it was the Model 2 4th change .38 da break open that's about 115 years old. This week it's the model 28 I bought off guns.com. I hope to have her home on Saturday.

She's a clean gun that is P&R with the original box, and optional target grips.

I hope she don't make my 27 jealous.

686 (no dash) "CS1" model.  The CS1 was a 686 built to specs put forth by the US Customs agency.  Supposedly built to tighter tolerances than "standard" 686's.  Basically a "Performance Center" gun before there was a such a thing as a "Performance Center".  Some of the CS1 guns out there are former Customs guns, others are over-runs.  No idea which this is, need to get it papered at some point.
