[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Post Card Campaign (Page 1 of 2)

Believe it or not, this works in SC. When some lame legislator introduces anti-gun legislation in the state legislature, there's a call to gun owners to make their presence known... it used to be GrassRoots GunRights South Carolina would send the post cards out to its membership to send to all legislators. Pre addressed, all that the membership needed to do was put stamps on them and mail them.
The legislators sat up and took notice when 25,000 brightly colored post cards arrived in their mail room and in boxes. Maybe our representatives will take notice when several hundred thousand of these arrive in their inboxes? |

Hey everyone, this was not my idea, but the postcard in the initial post was my design. I've since created several more designs, and I'm going to try to post them in a Microsoft word .doc or PDF format so that everyone can download, print, and mail their own. (Am I not allowed to include attachments to a post because I just registered?) So far, the Colorado AR-15 forum members have printed several thousand postcards. Hundreds of them have been mailed, and hundreds more are just waiting on gun store counters for people to take home, write in the name and address of whomever they wish to send them to, and pay the $.35 to mail them.
I sincerely hope that more people get on board with this idea. Now is the time, and I'm trying to make it as easy as possible for you. If you are in the Colorado Springs area, I will even print them off for you so all you have to do is mail them. If there is a way I can make this easier, please let me know. With lots of anti-gun legislation about to hit the fan, we need to get maximum participation on things like this. If you sit idle and watch it happen, it's your own darn fault. Thanks NewRacer for posting the files. :) |

Any chance you can post a link that doesn't require signing up for the forum? Not sure how to attach the files here or where to host them so they are accessible.... Can anyone help? |

Had some of my own design printed up, they are going out tomorrow. Anyone have any particularly stubborn reps that need targeted? http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f313/zpilotz01/stuffs/87A2A5BE-A2C7-4AA5-8A1C-421C9F1460B3-27522-00002A6858224257_zps041c5076.jpg Wow! Nicely done. And to the point. edit: In before the advocates |
