My son had eye surgery last week.  They removed the lens in his right eye.  Because he will grow a lot, they didn't put an implant in.  So he got fitted today for a contact lens.  Luckily, he's able to wear the extended wear lenses so I'll only have to take it out once a week.  I've discovered already that the lens is easier to take out than put in!  They still can't tell if his retina is ok because there's blood floating around in his eye that blocks their view.  He also saw his pediatrician this morning and is up to 7 pounds 3 ounces.  He's getting to be such a big boy!

Thank you to everyone for your prayers and support,

Judi
