I have a space for a compact dryer. The power outlet is just a normal everyday wall type. The space is large enough for a full size dryer, but full size dryers have the larger power requirements of the 220 power outlet. Do i need an electrician to make the change? How much of a pain in the ass is this going to be. Cost estimate if I get someone to do it for me, will it take them an hour of is the change really involved? Thanks guys |
What is the amp draw of the compact dryer? You will still need a dedicated circuit so you do not overload the wire If it is 20amp 220v, then a few changes in the panel and the plug and your good to go. Hire an Electrician to do this work. |
