Powerball says  the odds are 146 million to one. How do you compute those?
They have 55 numbered balls and they pull five balls.

I thought you computed this:
55x54x53x52x51=Odds

The odds used to be 120 million to one and there were only 53 balls to pull.
53x52x51x50x49=Odds, right?

5 balls +1powerball (42)

55x54x53x52x51 x 42 =17,532,955,440

You are correct to a point.  There is also a Power Ball that is selected from balls numbered 1 to 41.  So 41 must be added to your string.

One person (one ticket) won the whole shooting match 340 freaking MILLION dollars.

I'd take the annunity and still not be able to spend it all unless I was dead set on owning and operating
the most extensive operational collection of former military jet fighters in the world.

Can you IMAGINE being the guy (or girl) who's sitting there staring at a little lottery ticket that
you KNOW is worth that much money?

What a feeling that would be!

I was happy about my C-note. I couldn't imagine all that cash.

It would be black rifles for everyone

I would take about 50 million of that and use it to fight the National Firearms Act and the 1986 Machine Gun Ban.

That would be enough.    To directly influence enough members of Congress to act on any bill you chose.   Get the best Congress money could buy.

But you may need to live out of the country until the statute of limitations for bribery of a political
figure runs out.

So you'd spend those years living in a country that has no MG restrictions.

I'd use some of the money to launch CRIPPLING lawsuits against Brady, HCI, VPC, and the other major anti-gun organizations.

Plus maybe see if something can be done about George Soros.

I'd buy some changes in the laws of many states, and when those changes were made, set up the world's first commercial CHAIN of brothels.    What a money maker that'd be!    Call it "Ball-Mart" or something!

No need to buy off congress. I would have a hell of a PR campaign.

Oh well, it will never happen.
