Just ordered this on amazon from Brian Enos. Super pumped.  He sent me an email saying that he would autograph it.  For $20 I think I got a good deal.  Anyone gone through this book before?

ETA:  I just got the book in the mail.  Signed by Brian Enos.  This is why I love the shooting sports.  Find another professional athlete with a book that is that nice.

I have that book. Prcatical Shooting: Beyond Fundamentals.

It is awesome. I bought that when I started IPSC. I was bottom third of the pack at matches.

I did the exercises and drills in the book for 4 months, then placed 2nd overall ( not in class) in a regional match.

He knows his stuff and the book is extremely well done IMO.

That is what I like to hear.  I knew he knew his stuff because he is one of the legends in the sport but it is good to hear that there are drills that are capable of making a better shooter.

Most of the drills aren't even at the range. They are with an empty gun building muscle memory. The hardest thing to do and took me several months and use of snap caps in amongst the live ammo was learning not to blink when the gun goes off. The key to very quick double taps is being ale to see the front site rise and then drop back into position and squeezing the second round off immediately when the front site is back in position ( actually before it's back because it takes a period of time to decide to shoot before the trigger is pulled. You will eventually be able to do a concealed draw at 5 yards and shoot 2 shots to COM and 1 to the head accurately in 1.5 secs.

One of the other keys is learning to point shoot accurately and changing focus based on range and size of target.

I like drills I can do from home.  My shooting time is limited but I can do a lot of practice at home if I have worthwhile drills.
