Dad just called and told me step-mom has lung cancer. She is going in Wednesday for a biopsy, so we're really hanging until then. She's had pneumonia like symptoms for the past month and finally got x-rays. Doc said it was a tumor. Dad is taking it kind of hard as we lost my mom in June of 1981 to a malignant brain tumor. And now Max comes down with this. He's definitely taking it hard. He wouldn't come out and say the words "cancer" or "tumor" but he did say "biopsy," "benign" and "malignant." He always likes to be cryptic but those terms always go hand-in-hand. [:(] Please say a prayer for Maxine and Elden. Thanks everyone. I appreciate it and I know they will also. |
