Last Friday a co-worker of mine suffered a heart attack during work; he is doing OK for the time being and is still in the hospital. He's in his late 50's and has no immediate family to care for him; his wife and daughter were killed in a car accident several years ago by a reckless driver. All he has now are a few concerned co-workers and friends who have visited him and brought him get well gifts (I brought him a radio, he loves listening to coast to coast.)
While I was visiting he told me that after several tests and examinations the doctors discovered that he has diabetes, emphysema, failing kidneys and liver. And the worst is that he will be undergoing a triple by-pass in a few hours (around 7am PST) 
His name is Gary and I would appreciate your prayers and well wishes on his behalf. I'll post an update as soon as I receive news. I'm really hoping he pulls through. Thank you. |
I'm glad I have good news. 
I went to visit him today, he was in ICU and recovering. He looked very good considering what he went through and was even laughing a bit. In spite of the pain he says overall he feels better now that its over. He also vows to quit smoking. We really appreciate all the prayers sent on his behalf. Thank you all.
