Dear brothers and sisters on February 19th, I was diagnosed with a large skull base meningioma tumor, which was rapped around the carotid artery and optical nerves.  On Feb. 25th I went through a 10 1/2 hour operation, they could only remove 65% of the tumor.  During the operation I suffered a slight stroke on my right side.

When I awoke I could not communicate verbally and had left side weakness.  The nurses and other staff tried to make me move my left hand, finger and leg on my own but to no avail.  After not being able to move on my own for 6 days, I began to complain of calf pain in both legs, which got little attention.  Early one morning I awoke and pressed my hand on my right thigh where the pain then intensified.

I rang for the nurse and informed her of my current condition.  Before I knew it I was rushed down to radiology and given a doppler test, the technician upon seeing what he saw, ran out into the hallway and grabbed a physician who was just going home.  They both came rushing back and checked the results again and the doctor told me that I had an extensive blood clot from the top of my thigh all the way down to my angle and that I also had a clot in my left calf which they did'nt  seem too concerned about.

I was put on heparin and when they made contact with certain surgeons, they put an IVC filter in my right groin and inserted it into the large artery called the vena cava, where they hoped it would stay in place in case any of the clot broke off it would be caught by the filter.  I then returned to my CCU room feeling even more depressed that something else had gone wrong.  The physicians always ignored my questions.  I'm going back for a second operation on May 25th to hopefully remove the rest of the tumor and come out with no other side effects, which would be death, loss of vision in one or both eyes and paralysis.
All prayers and good thoughts would be appreciated.

My GOODNESS!!!!!  That is some serious stuff there.  I pray that God in all his power strengthen you and keep you close.  May he help you heal quickly and may the operations be so successful and your recovery swift, that it would amaze everyone.  And I pray if it is his will to just heal you completely and forget the whole surgery thing.  Lord, we come to you, we bow before you, we yell out to you as our King.  Please be with this gentleman.  Oh hear our prayer Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hang in there man!  God be with you.
