The dealer. Although TFB took part in a media event hosted by Sig and they revealed a lot of details. They were told by Sig that it would be released 4th quarter of this year and later confirmed Oct-Nov. So that is 2 sources saying that time frame. |

No. ATF is still doing their third review. Sig still expects it to pass and hopes to release it. Currently they have only confirmed 8" pistol models for the civilian market. Quoted:

Does this mean Sig won?? No. ATF is still doing their third review. Sig still expects it to pass and hopes to release it. Currently they have only confirmed 8" pistol models for the civilian market. If they win I hope it becomes a trend. The muzzle brake/baffle stack is fucking genius. |

What's the price point now? Base pistol can be pre-ordered fir $1499.95 and the pistol with the brace is $1,624.95. Pics of which one you ordered? http://www.sigsauer.com/upFiles/catalog/product/MPX-P-SB15_detail-Hero.jpg THIS Very cool. Hope you love it. I'm going to hold out for the muzzle brake version...though with my patience it may end up in a get both situation for me at some point. Does the folder version have a QD or D ring for a sling at the back of the receiver? |

I really really want one. |

Does the folder version have a QD or D ring for a sling at the back of the receiver? Me too. I really wanted an MP5. I already have a GSG-22 but I want a centerfire model as well. I've come close to buying a dedicated 9mm AR lower in Colt or Glock pattern mags a few times but it just isn't what I want. The MPX has excited me from day 1 and I like that they used the MP5 as an inspiration and tried to improve upon it. The muzzle break model REALLY excites me too and if I end up liking this as much as I think I will it might just be a get both situation for me too. The big downside for me is the current price of the mags. $70! I believe I read on Sig Forum that the rear of the receiver has a built in QD sling mount. |

I really really want one. Check out TFB for their post on it last month. There was also a post at Sig Forum where a lot of details from the press event were shared. They are currently only releasing the pistol models with the hope that they can release the flash hider carbine model upon BATFE approval. They have no plans for a full on 16" barrel at this time. Stocks and other accessories will be available at a later date when they are sure they can meet the demand from dealers, LEOs, etc. They will also be offering factory SBR models at that time. |

propriety mag? Yeah. Made by Lancer. MSRP is $70 |

Okay I understand the brace benefits but can someone explain the magic muzzle device for those if us that are SIG challenged? My understanding of it is, that if you put a suppressor on it will be the same length as a suppressed SBR, but you won't have to register the gun itself as an SBR. I could be wrong though. |

On that mode, which is currently under ATF contention, the muzzle device functions as a suppressor baffle stack. Sig will sell a sleeve that quickly and easily threads onto the barrel over the baffle stack. Thus you have a 16" carbine that requires almost no extra length or weight to suppress and only 1 tax stamp. |

Not even close. The pic above shows the muzzle brake that Sig designed that is made so you can purchase their tube (NFA item) and turn your muzzle brake into a suppressor. You end up with a 1 stamp gun, instead of a 2 stamp gun. |

Quoted: The model OP has posted is not the one the ATF is going full retard about. That would be this: https://www.sigsauer.com/upFiles/catalog/product/MPX-C-Detail-Hero.jpg That is the business Do I buy that model and Form 1 the suppressor? Leaning towards this because then it will be easy to travel out of state. Do I buy the 4.5in pistol and SBR it? I already have a 9mm suppressor and that would make a really compact package. But then there are the SBR drawbacks. |

Sig has to know they have the next hk94 on their hands. I hope the grip is ar15 interchangeable and mag prices reasonable It is. They aren't. 20 spare mags = $1400 dang.... Yeah that is the big downside for the platform so far. With them dropping the price I am hoping they end up selling a shit ton of them which should help drive down costs. |

Quoted: Why would you Form 1 the suppressor instead of just buying Sigs tube on a Form 4? Good question. Here is a good answer. 1. Why pay Sig for a tube I can easily make on my lathe? 2. The best reason. Form 1 is a ~45 day turn around on the E-file. Form 4 is a fucking year. |

That's the one I want..............but I am going to wait awhile to recover from buying a Tavor and hope that the mag prices come down some Quoted:

I want the PDW model with a retractable brace. My thread so I can take it off topic if I want. |

Without knowing the specs of the tube, you could be making yourself a world of hurt. 2. Form 4's could very easily be back up on eFile before this hits the street. |

I want the MPX-K with a 3-lug adapter. And F-U Mr Hughes for preventing us from having a select fire version. |
|
I really like mine a lot............it balances well, and is easy to disassemble. I am taking it to the range this weekend, but I got a chance to shoot one before hand, and it sold me. The AUG is a nice weapon as well, but I found a great deal on the Tavor so I decided to get it.........I think you would be happy either way

Its about the easiest thing in the world to reverse engineer. 2. Silencer Shop says it will be about a year before Form 4 is back on E-file. |
