1st: the AWB will sunset 2nd: but my real prediction is all the people here that have said "THERE IS NO WAY THE AWB WILL SUNSET!" will now start to talk about how it is just a ruse so "they" can pass another harsher one or some other excuse but they will not admit they are just tinfoily paranoid.

That is the exact plan... So far we've managed to hold them off in IL & one of the east-coast states... Another east-coast state has a sunsetting state ban that they have been unable to renew so far... I'm not too worried about a state ban where I lived, as this failed back in 94 when it was 'THE ISSUE' of gun control... |
| I think we're pretty safe in Texas from state bans. I think Kerry could win and if the Dems don't win congress then we're still probably allright until the 2006 elections. Let's all get out and vote to make sure this doesn't happen. Kinda sucks that Bush is such a fuckup, but he is definitely the lesser of two evils. |
