A lot of talk from various states resisting any .gov bans on military type firearms.
But you can believe it if you wish but in the end it's just posing. All states, I predict will fold. Why? Because the Federal .gov will use the tactic it has always used to beat the sheep into order. Witholding Federal funds. The states are so attached to the teats of the Federal sow that when facing the threat of no money they will meakly give up. States can " talk the talk " but that's about all. No state is going to say no to money for schools, roads, etc, etc. GD |

There will be hold-outs. Think of all the places where men are men, and the people in general hold onto old-fashioned ideas and morality.
The feds will have a hard time changing attitudes of people like that, especially when its forced. Those communities are probably in the minority but they exist. The majority of states will indeed comply, however. |

It was way more than just posturing, it was a giant middle finger to our current administrations shady tactics. |

Pardner, we farm enough to export a bunch as it is. If we don't have to grow enough to feed everybody else...we'll be fine. We could also re-purpose some of our drilling rigs to drill water wells...if they aren't busy drilling oil & gas wells to supply everybody else. Texas would make out just fine, thank you.  |
