Yep, today I almost died. Never had one before.
My lord. Felt like I drank 2 monster energies, put in a dip, took a couple shots of vodka, and already did my work out before I started. I don't believe I am going to purchase anytime soon. |

Half your dose until you get used to it. I don't use preworkouts much anymore other than black coffee all day errday. And I take creatine and beta alanine but not necessarily pre workout. |
| ON Amino Energy is made from tea extracts. Effects last much longer and not the fast crash/bonk effect form some Pre-Work out drinks. Depends on what you are looking for I guess. Al of then say start out with smaller amounts and work up to what you are comfortable with. |

Damn, that's some powerful stuff. I buy bulk powder from Amazon and mix my own. The stuff makes my skin crawl when I take it but never felt like you describe.
Edit: Looks like this may be it https://www.bodybuilding.com/store/grenade/50-caliber.html |

Mesomorph is my go to, at least until it gets banned. It's like liquid crank. I can feel that it raises my blood pressure, so I cut the dosage, but the stuff is incredible. Amazing energy, focus, and pump. My arms were so pumped from a workout that I couldn't straighten them for hours. |

I recommend a small sweet potato, 4 eggs and 1/2 cup if peas 60 minutes before workout. Quoted:

What are some that y'all recommend? I have never tried any before. Is it worth the cost and trouble? How long does it take for most to kick in? |

I bought a tub of some stuff and then realized I could make my own cheaper and customize the ingredients to my liking. I like a decent amount of beta alanine, makes me feel alive bro! I only use 200mg of caf. |

You one of those low fat/ no fat tards? Carbs, protein, fats and oils are king. Get some amino acids and you're good to go. Enjoy your water weight, sweetheart. Go a head a fill up on fat and fiber right before a workout. Give me simple carbs and caffeine. |
![]() The Effects of Pre-Workout I went to the Arnold convention and they gave out samples of a pre workout. I took it, and never worked out. I thought I was going to have a damn heart attack. "The fuck was that, meth?!"

One dose of pre-workout is equal to two cups of coffee. I don't know. Maybe it was all in my head, but it sure felt like more than a couple cups of coffee in my body. |

Since your resorting to personal insults instead of just trying to talk about why fats slow down your digestion and shunts blood to you stomach/digestion track instead of your muscles where you want them during a workout I'll just leave this here. Go a head a fill up on fat and fiber right before a workout. Give me simple carbs and caffeine. Quoted:

Go a head a fill up on fat and fiber right before a workout. Give me simple carbs and caffeine. Working out in and of itself speeds up the digestive process. Complex carbs are not bad, but if you're eating 30 minutes prior to workout a simple carb and caffeine would be more appropriate assuming you have a good post workout meal within 30 minutes of completing your workout. Feel free to do it how you want, but these preworkouts put a lot of unnessicary stress on your cardiovascular system. And when did fiber become the devil? Lol. Anyway, I've had better results with natural solutions vs the manufactured ones, but like any diet and routine you have to tailor it a bit for what works for you. I take a while health approach that is diet-centric while some guys are supplement-centric and will eat a DQPC every day on the way home (one of my good buddies does this). My former coach and excised physiologist always said trash in, trash out. |

Half an apple covered with a little creamy peanut butter and a cup of coffee with a little coconut oil around 30-45 minutes before heading to the gym. Nothing fancy and gives me enough energy to roll up the 20 somethings for 2 hours of Jiu-Jitsu. |

The idea is to slow down digestion so you still have burnable energy 2-2.5 hours later, assuming you eat 1-1.5 hours prior to the workout, which allows for the digestion to start. Working out in and of itself speeds up the digestive process. That meal should be a normal healthy meal with fats, protien, complex carbs etc. I don't consider that a "preworkout". |

I'm not saying fiber, or fat, or any essential nutiant is bad. All if them are extremely important. Just not as a pre workout.
