I'm 24 and I don't remember if I've ever voted in the primaries. Would it be better to vote republican and who you want to win or democrat and vote for someone other than Hilary or Obama just to show democrats might not like either of them? Does this even make sense? Michigan primaries are this Tuesday. |
| It sounds like the question is about "party raiding" or voting in another party's primary to some subversive end. In most states, you would have to register as a democrat to participate in their primary. You would be best off voting in your own parties primary, voting for an unlikely democrat is going to have zero effect unless it is done on a large scale, which has never happened. Further, since the political parties have ownership of the nomination process, they would be quick to squash large scale organized party raiding. |
