Mine sucks....
By time I actually needed to use the insurance for what it was meant for I find out that it doesn't cover anything I need. When I had an Upper EDC done in Feb '09 they refused to cover it don't know why, they covered the previous 2 procedures with no argument those were spread out over 3 years. When I broke my back in '09 it covered like $50 of the 5 fucking bills that were sent to me those totaled in excess of $3000 my deductible was/is $1500, so I still ended up paying all of it as insurance deemed spinal column Xrays unneeded, and since I wasn't put in a meat wagon and taken there it wasn't deemed serious. Considering I couldn't feel either leg for about a month I'd say it was more than serious. Come here let me break your back Mr. insurance man & lets see if Xrays will help your Dr. determine whats wrong! 
The last 4 months have been all but fun, with shoulder problems I can barely use my left arm for so much as opening a door. I need rehab & physical therapy for it, what does insurance cover? Well first I would have had to be admitted to the hospital undergone surgery or have been taken to the ER with a busted bone and it put in a cast all of which had to have been done and the physical therapy part ordered by a Dr. within 72 hrs of the release from the hospital/ER. So what do they cover....not a fucking thing. Today I find out that 4-5 vertibre are rotated causing several ribs to rotate as well that makes the chest hurt too, external rotators are weak, Scalene neck muscles are tight. I can on 'n on about the issues I have to face but the insurance part of it pisses me the fuck off, I want to pound a face or 2 in and I usually don't get this mad or feel vindictive but I've had a enough, hope they never call here or stop by I might just lose it. I cant afford to see a GP they all cost $250-750 per office visit, at least around here they do. Not even your Dr. that speaks very little ingrish is affordable. Fuck ObamaCare I know its going to far worse than what I have to deal with, I could cancel mine and get on the public ticket instead....BTDT its nice to pay $1-2 per visit but its a shitty feeling every time you do that, even when I was on state healthcare ticket I didn't use it unless i had to maybe made 4 office visits in 2 years. I didn't abuse it like people I know do. |
