A lot of good articles have been appearing on the web lately in support of the 2nd Amendment, largely due to all the cries for more gun control after recent shootings. I've been adding some of them to other sources of good info I've gathered in the past. I've also noticed a lot of people asking for help in dealing with a debate with a friend or family member, needing some clarifications or definitions; and also people saying we need to get more organized and 'get our shit together' like the antis do in order to more effectively counter their efforts.
All these things gave me the idea for this thread. We should have one place where all this helpful information is located. Links to videos or well-written articles that explain different aspects of the Constitution and clarify certain hotly-debated topics (whether it's about the 2nd Amendment, school shootings, firearm definitions, crime statistics, or anything else related to these things), sources of statistics that refute the gun grabbers' bogus claims, talking points that can be used in a debate, references to information that you can google to find more details, or just sources of inspiration from authors/researchers who know what they're talking about that you can elaborate on when writing a paper for school or writing a letter to a Congressman or even just trying to convince your mom of the holes in her logic. This is the information we need when doing these things, but it's not easy to find if there's no particular source where it's all located. So my idea is to make this thread that source. If you know of any good videos or articles, sources of statistics or research that's been done, or any other such things that we can use to counter the false claims and ignorance and fight the good fight, post a link to it in this thread. Don't quote the source, we don't want to get the thread locked due to copyright infringement. All we need is a link to it and the reader can click the link if he wants to check it out. Also, articles and research papers often includes links to other sources of information, so don't forget to check those out, too. One note: Don't use this thread to debate someone about something you disagree with. If that happens, the pertinent information will be lost among a jumble of arguing and the thread will get locked, ruining it for everyone. This can be a valuable resource if we don't screw it up. If you want to debate a point with someone, take it to IMs or start another thread. Don't do it here. So here are a few links I've been saving to get things started. Add your own links to this thread if you have any that are pertinent to the cause.
