| I purchased my home in 2012. All of the windows were all installed in 2011. The problem I'm having is that I'm getting a pretty solid cold feeling from all the windows in the house. I thought there was a slight draft in them, however after sealing all the seams with duct tape I realized that it's definitely coming from the glass. All the windows are double pained. Is there a particular product that anyone recommends placing over the glass to help keep that cold feeling out. I've seen a bunch at home depot / lowes, but don't know if anyone else has used them. Thanks |

I use this stuff in our very poorly insulated rental townhouse. It makes a big difference when it really gets cold. |

It cuts the heating bill substantially (I don't recall if it was this brand, but something similar anyhow.) |

You might try Reflectix from Home Depot. It is a silver backed bubblewrap looking stuff. A lot of us use it on our motorhome single pane windows to keep out the heat and cold. But you cannot see out the windows when it's covered. Use this in my RV as well and it works wonders... Might be kind of ugly in the house though.. Ever thought about some heavy drapes? They would do a good job of containing that cold and could stay year round while being part of your home decor (if done properly) |

Who installed the windows? If it was a replacement window company, call them and see if they can help you out. After 3 years, the windows shouldn't be leaking air. I don't believe that they're totally leaking air. I thought it was some sort of a draft, but the curtains were not moving even in high wind storms. I do feel a solid cold feeling near the windows that seems to radiate into the rooms. |
