I've got a 21 month-old Rheem water heater w/a Honeywell control unit. It's been fine until the last couple of weeks when the unit has turned itself off a couple of times w/no diagnostic blinks as to why.
It relights every time w/the diagnostic blink then indicating normal operation. Research on the 'net has turned up nada for this specific problem (although the Honeywell control unit is apparently less than perfect  ).
Before I hock a kidney for a service call, any ideas as to the specific cause? TIA!... Tomac |
