I've been wanting to ask this question for a long time.
I'm using Windows XP and Google Chrome to view arfcom web pages.
I sometimes have to click and close a page link several times before
the page will load and display. It's a pain.
The thing is, I only have this problem with arfcom out of all the other web
sites that I visit.
Anyone else run across this problem? Is there a fix?

Why are you using such an old OS?

The site runs better with a paid membership

I've had nothing but shit problems trying Chrome...I've dumped it completely.

Does it do the same in Firefox?

If the guy wants to buy a membership, great! If he doesn't, that's fine too. He's missing out on some neat features, but it's his dime; no need to rag him about it.

It really does load faster with a membership. Seriously, log out and surf the site for a bit.

OP look up adblock plus for chrome it might help with your lag.

I honestly wouldn't know...I can't think of the last time my membership expired and I was forced to surf arfcom without a membership

OK, perhaps I left something out...............???????
My notebook or mini computer won't run anything more than Win. XP, too old.
I tried to load and run Fire Fox but that was a disaster, I'll not try that again.
Win. Explorer just cannot keep up with most web pages, I.E. "Facebook".
Google, Chrome works fairly well for me as far as I can tell, I'm no I.T. tech.
I don't think a paid membership has anything to do with the problem, maybe I'm wrong but anyway.
Many ARFCOM pages load just fine on the first try but some just hang in limbo until I close them out and try to reload them, this may take several try's before they finally load.
The odd thing is, I only have this problem on ARFCOM.......?????????
I thought someone might know why?
