I wanted to let everyone know about a problem I had with Collectible Firearms. I detailed this out in a webpage, but basically I ordered a rifle that was advertised as having matching numbers, and when I got it, the numbers didn't match. When I called the seller, who is supposed to be a collectibledealer, I was informed that his return policy gave me 5 days to return it for a refund minus shipping, although he had misrepresented his product. In the end, he hung up on me, after refusing to refund me purchase price and shipping and handling.

Just to put this in perspective, imagine that you are willing to pay extra for an M1 Garand because the seller lists it as being an all matching Winchester, you pay S&H and FFL fee's, and get it home, take out the trigger pack, and it's marked SA, then when you called the seller he said he didn't look at the trigger pack, but it's not his fault.

Anyways, I just wanted to let everyone who's interested know about this. Maybe you don't agree with me about the poor customer service, but I'm of the opinion that if I make the mistake, I pay for it, if you make the mistake, you pay for it...

Sorry for your trouble but this is a perfect example of why I'd never buy a gun over the net.

Did you pay with a CC, if you did go to your CC company and complain. They can make him pay up if you can make the case to them.
