I'm having problems printing .pdfs that is kicking my butt.  I've had this problem with a couple different forms now.  The are templates that came from the net.  When I type in the text and try to print it won't print the text or not all of the text anyway.  I have tried to save the file as a .doc and I get the same thing.  I also tried to do it in Pure Edge and got the same thing.

I just tried using the preflight option in Acrobat Pro and it shows red Xs saying that the document is encrypted and that the font is not embedded.

The printer is an HP F4180 and I downloaded the new driver and tried to install it but it said the installed driver is a newer version.

Foxit reader worked for the most part.  I opened a DD 1750 packing list form and filled it out.  Before it would print just the lines of the form, no text.  It prints the text now but it didn't print the Is for the page except in the list section and in that section it didn't print any of the Ls

The font message sounds to me like they did not embed the fonts in the original .pdf.  They expect that your PC will have the necessary font installed.  That is usually not too bad of a thing if they have used a common font that most PC's have.  Did the error message tell you which font was missing?  If so you can try to install that font package directly on your computer.
