I'm looking to increase my protein intake; I'm already taking whey protein 3 times a day (Morning, evening post workout, before bed), but I don't think it's enough.

I will tell you now, I DETEST tuna. I've eaten so much tuna that I want to punch every fish in the face.

Should I be looking into getting some other sort of protein? Caesein (sp?) maybe?

Tell me what you think.

Egg whites, chicken and protein powder...in addition to the tuna.

Eat a lot of eggs. Cheapest protein out there and can be added to almost any dish or have anything put on them to improve the taste. You can take hardboiled eggs on the go.

I eat 3 scrambled eggs every morning which is about all I can stomach or I'd eat more. Eat the yolks. They're good for you.

And chicken breast.

Don't forget about beans, IIRC black beans are the highest in protein though they're all a good source.  Cottage cheese is another good source, about 14 grams of protein in a serving.

This + raw egg + 8 oz. milk + blender = MEGA protein drink that's efficeintly absorbed. Super combo of essential aminos while keeping the carb count very low.

Add a capful of vanilla extract and a scoop of low-carb ice cream and you also get a DELICIOUS treat.

Thanks.
I'll be sure to pick some up.

How much protein are you getting right now? A general rule of thumb is 1g per pound of body weight for someone that is really working out hard. Only other thing I got is that you might want to add a half serving of your protein about 30min before your work-out. And just to make things more complicated they now have slow digestion protein to take at night that you might look at, though it does mean buying two types of protein instead of just one.

Your before bed protien intake should be something slower digesting than whey. If you want a a shake, go with a Casein protien. Should you want to eat something instead, cottage cheese.
