I spent the weekend producing my new website. I need feedback as to appearence, layout, ease of use and any other suggestions you can think of. Dig deep as this venture was a leap of faith and I need it to be right. Please point out any obvious errors to me. www.milestoneexec.com |

Looks great, But I'd consider rewriting this: Milestone uses the best practices of networking and direct sourcing to find the best available talent for our clients. Most of the people we place are currently employed, very good at what they do, but are interested in hearing about your opportunity. We reach out to executives and professionals and introduce them to you. We provide career counseling and best advice to candidates and strive to make a best fit match between prospective candidates and employers. We then help both hiring managers and candidates navigate the interview and hiring process. Our goal is not just to make a placement, but to facilitate a relationship that will last and provide a win for everyone. |

“Mike is a highly regarded, top notch professional. I have worked with Mike on several occassions, and I've found him to be competant, dependable, and someone that I could count on. With out hesistation, I would recommend Mikek as an outstanding individual, ethical, and with high standards.” Mark Smith, Northrup Grumman I like the colors you chose-very professional IMO. Triple-check all of the spelling on the site just to be sure it's right. Nice site! HH |

Consider using a nicer template than a subpar, bottom of the barrel template. It would take a middle schooler 10 minutes to add the content using that cheesy template. Not to sound harsh, but I think you could spend a little more time in design of the site. Templates are free...yes..but you get what you pay for. |

Validate your HTML. validator.w3.org/ You're declaring it XHTML 1.0 Strict but it's no where near being close to that spec. |

Personal opinion... the color and layout blows.. that blue header takes away from the aeshtetic appeal of the site. Look for some templates, you want one that resembles a 3000 dollar Armani suit... if you know what I mean. you may want to look at compact "flash" templates. And congrats on going it yourself... there are going to be times when you just want a paycheck and think it sucks... but the rest of the time it will be rewarding as hell.. concentrate on that part. YOU now control your destiny. ETA: do what DVDtracker suggests... make sure it it right, if you dont validate you dont get web presence... search engine spiders will not even pay attention to you and actually force you to lower ranking. |
