I'm full of energy. I don't like walking on a leash. I'm a sweetie pie, and love to run. I don't listen very well, so you'll need to take some time to train me. Because I tend to be a bit hyper, I might not be the best addition to a household with little kids. But I'm sure that all I need is a little lovin'.

I saw a GSD mixed with a Basset.

Looked like a short-legged GSD. He was super cute.

This one, not so much.

If I wanted a dog to literally go after badgers in their dens (it always surprised me that dachshunds were supposed to be optimized for such tasks?) then this would be a perfect hybrid. All the jaw strength of a pit, all the aggressiveness and hyperactivity of a dachs.

But as for being around kids and such? NOOOOPE. This thing wouldn't just nip fingers, you might lose them.

Here's the real terror.

Dog looks freaky. This will attract a lot of people. Someone is going to start purposely breeding Pit X Wiener to sell. So not only will you be getting the suffering involved in the puppy mill aspect, 99.9% of the people who buy these things are going to be worse dog owners than Paris Hilton.

I was going to post pictures but they must be on my g/f's phone, but we are fostering a boston / pit mix. Think boston terrier size and colors (black and white) but its a pit. Probably why her full name is itty bitty the minny pitty .. it just itty for short.
