 Yeah Freddie was about as Nancy as they come but the man could sing.

He was Bi, danced with the ladies as well as the men. And he was a real talent. I head May in an interview were he said that when they told Freddie they wanted to call the group Queen, he was the only one against it. He figured everyone would think it was his idea.  |

When I was in 8th or 9th grade one of the kids in our crew got really into Queen and either didn't know or completely denied the fact that Freddie was gay. We of course made it a point to bring it up because it's hilarious when you're a 13yo. He'd get extremely defensive, which of course earned him the nickname, Mrs. Mercury. CSB. |
