OK, I have an older model Yankee Hill Quad-Rail handguard, the oned before they started putting the "anti-rotational" shit on them. I never have really had a problem with my handguards spinning on me, but to be honest I see how it could happen. My question is, should I order the upgraded parts (around $60.00) or I was just thinking I could Loc-Tite the handguard onto the barrel bushing. Whattya think?
Has anyone else has problems with their handguards spinning on them? |

loctite works fine That's what I was hoping to do. One guy i talked to suggested not doing it because he had a rough time getting his off, but I don't really see myself taking this thing off anytime in immediate future. Unless it doesn't hold, then that would make it a non-issue anyway. |

The extra thickness would prevent rotation. On one of my first carbines, I had the non-FF YHM rail. When using a vfg during IDPA-type rifle contests I had mine rotate quite a bit. The tape worked for me. |
