How do you know when buttermilk goes bad?

My wife likes it.  I asked her this question and she didn't know.

Maybe when it comes out in chunks?

In my opinion, it's gone south before you buy it.

When it comes out in lumps, just call it cottage cheese.

I don't know but it has a much longer expiration date than milk or cream does. Shit stays good forever.

Wait till I get home, I'll send you a recipe she should try for cold buttermilk soup. I know, I know ... keep an open mind.   Stay safe.

I like buttermilk biscuits and buttermilk pancakes.

I just can't get near the stuff straight up in a glass.

If it draws down on you when you open the refrigerator door, it's gone bad.

I might have to shoot back!

"BAM!!!"

Wife: What was that???!!!

Me: The buttermilk assaulted me.  I had no choice.  It was self defense.
