Would you be angry if someone called animal control on your dog that was running loose?

**The dog was loose the day before and the people didn't look for it or holler for it. So the next day it tired
to get your animals in YOUR yard and you called animal control** Would you be mind since it's your fault
your dog was loose???

I'd be mortified that it was actually necessary! But then again, I don't let my dogs run loose.

If a person is willing to ignore the law, endangering other people and their property, then they shouldn't feel bad when the authorities are called to take care of the problem. They're just lucky their dog wasn't shot. That's what happens around here to loose dogs that are menacing people or harassing livestock/pets.

I see no issues with what you did.  You might have saved it from getting hit by a car or some other awful thing.

If they are not hurting anyone, I leave them be as I know they aren't likely to make it out of the pound.  If I know who they belong to, then I'll take them home, if possible.

Nope. I'd rather make the trip down to the pound and retrieve my pup, then find out he's bitten someone, gotten injured in a fight or been run over.

Theres a reason you keep them tagged and licensed.
