I'll leave names out of this to avoid any complications.
I ordered a stripped lower from an out of state FFL "X." My receipt shows me as the billed person and the FFL receiving the receiver ("Y") as the person to ship the receiver to. However, when I check my order status, the website lists my father as the person billed (his name was attached to X's website for an order years ago). My card has already been charged (debit, my bank account), and, again, my instant email receipt shows me as the purchaser. Will I have any issues with the transfer if it shows up and the bill is to my father? I physically purchased it, but if he shows up as the purchaser from X, can Y still transfer the lower to me? |

Shouldn't be a problem. Did your dad ever contact the transfer dealer? Did you ever contact the transfer dealer? Have you bought from them in the past? When you fill out the 4473, you are saying that you are the actual purchaser. I can see how it might lift an eye brow, but it should cause no further concern. |
