I have a delima. I am looking at getting the Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6 mounted on a MI QD mount, On top of a 6920.
My question is will the front sight post be an issue? Or will the 1× setting Co witness while 2× and up focus past the post? Or will I need to remove the post? |

Alright, so I remember that I had an old AR circa 2007 that still has an A2 front post and I put a strike Eagle behind it.
Forgive the blue haze and parallax, it's mounted behind a holosight on a gun propped up by a bath robe. 
1x will co-witness, but not completely, it's more of a 1/3 co-witness. At 2x there's a haze of front sight post, beyond that you're good. |
