thats what I use, and my question(s) is what is the limit that can be placed there ( the free one ) and how do you tell
how close or even over you are

also what are some other good hosting sites to check out, cause I'm a pic posting mofo, and I think I close to the limit on
photobucket

thanx

Once you hit the bandwidth limit.  That is to say enough people access a given account the photos will show as bandwidth exceeded.  It is not about the ammount you have stored on your account but the bandwidth required to access the photos.

I use mine so much I just paid the yearly fee I think it was $25 or $30 but can not recall at the moment.

I'm a pic-posting mofo, too, and I agree with USMC88-93. Just pay the $30 a year (that's what––$2.50 a month?) and go Pro. You're bandwidth has no limits under the Pro account. I like Photobucket because it will take GIFs as well as JPEGs. Some of them––like Flickr––will only upload a GIF as a single photo, not as a motion picture.
