| Can I hook up two aditional montiers for Prefirial vision. I play Call of duty alot can just seem to think this would be a better playing exp. with better vision (in multi player roles) |

sure you can, I think it depends on the game though. multi-head gaming I can't see it really helping a lot though in first person shooters. Possible mouse lag. What would work better is getting a wide screen monitor. It might give you a little better peripheral view. |

Besides having a video card that can support multiple monitors through its hardware and its drivers, the game software must ALSO support multiple monitors. Most higher end consumer AGP video cards these days support 2 monitors. The only consumer level video card that supports more than 2 monitors is the Matrox Parhelia (sp?), but they are too slow for the newer, more intensive games anyway. Unfortuantely, even if your video card supports multiple montiros, there are very "few" games that have support for the same. You can also run mutiple PCI based video cards, but these are generally too slow for newer games anyway. For 1st person games, you just gotta learn to swing back and forth a lot to simulate peripheal vision. 3d "sound" with a 4+ speaker setup helps a lot too. |
