I have a question for any doctors/individuals in the medical field that may have any advice, suggestions, or answers for me.

I have been abnormally tired the last 3-4 days, this came on almost out of the blue when I noticed I just didn't feel right and my pulse was high, and my legs almost felt slightly numb. I checked my heart rate it it was 110-130 for over 2 hour and I hadn't done anything that would cause it to be so high. Yesterday i felt worse than today, but not as bad as the night prior, but I still have no energy and at rest my pulse seems to be 95-105. It is normally 80-90 at rest. I have been stressed a little bit lately as college finals were this past week but they finished the day I started feeling off, and I really wasn't worried very much about any of them. I have also had some stress due to recently being told I need to take 19 hours in order to graduate in the spring, and I was working up the courage to ask my future father in law for his blessing on marrying his daughter (which I did yesterday and he said he would be thrilled for us to get married!). All that being said, I really didn't feel stressed, I normally don't let things bother me, but I have had times where I felt over worked and stressed due to worrying about failing a math class and this did not feel like that. My pulse is still pretty high at random checks

I went to the doctor yesterday and he figures it is the onset of a virus or the flu paired with me taking pseudoephedrine, and ritalin (I take 10mg 1-2x a day for college as needed) the past couple days (as I have felt stuffed up the last few days) that caused the rapid heart rate, but the day I had this episode I only too 1 tablet, but the 2 days prior I took 2 pseudoephedrine and ritalin with no issues. (I realize both are stimulants and it isn't the greatest idea to take them together...) He did send me to the lab to do blood testing and they are going to check to see if I am anemic, if I have a thyroid problem, and if I am diabetic.

I am a 23 year old male, not but a few lbs over weight (5'10 185 lbs) diet is rather poor, but has been better the last month or so. Does anyone have any ideas? Maybe I am just sick, but I don't feel sick, just drained.

You just diagnosed yourself.

Lay off the stimulants.

I've been out of college for a while, but "Ritalin for college as needed."  WTF?

You've already figured it all out.

Eat better. Exercise. Diet. Stop using stimulants.
