Is there a way to prove shipping contents in a box with no barcoding/tracking system?

your question is difficult to understand but her it it goes...

Invoice on the outside of the box

Packing Sheet on the outside of the box

IIRC only the USPS will ship w/ just an address & they might add their own barcode for internal tracking

I'm referring to outgoing packages......customer says he didn't receive contents on packing slip. Is there any way to prove the items are enclosed?

So besides being honest, anyone can just call up a company and say they didn't get part of their order and get another shipment?

Wouldn't there be a pick sheet with the item checked off? But that doesn't mean it went into the carton, that's what a packing list is for.

Whover packs the carton should mark the item off and press hard, you're making at least two copies One stays at the shipping dept and one for the carton.  If not that, some electronic means of accomplishing the same thing.
