This is an "example" (hint, hint) of a question on my markmanship final I give to my students. "Why is an assault weapon more deadly than all other weapons?" a. It has more thrust per squeeze. b. It is a bullet hose. c. It has a much longer range than anything else. d. It is no more deadly than any other weapon. Now, you know where answer a came from. B came from the same place. C and D I threw in there. Can you guess the correct answer? Some people actually put A and B. No one put C and most anwered correctly. I discussed the assault weapon issue repeatedly and some still missed it! Incidently, many student thought assault weapons were semi-automatic. We discuess this as well. Guess it pays to pay attention. |
