I've got pages from a factory shop manual that are in html format. I am just curious as to what would be the best way to add them to my webpage would be?

You need to upload the files/pages to the web server where your website is located, then link to them from your home page, or whatever pages you want to link to them from.

You also need to make sure you aren't violating any copyrights to publish them to your webpage.

Ok thanks guys. Is it possible to edit html to remove empty directories? Basically some of it is just non existent.

Yeah it can be edited and resaved. You just need to know what you are doing.
