My cousins password expired on his windows XP machine and for some reason it wont let them change it. The computer keeps saying their old password or user name isnt correct but they say it is all correct. Is there anyway around this to get it fixed?

Please help....

He's fucked.




Hope he backed up, he's gonna have to re-install windows. Or send his Comp in to a tech to do a hard drive resurrection.

Can he log on as administrator and change his accounts password?
To see if there is an Admin account, press Ctrl+Alt+Del twice and the log in prompt.
