Met a girl online and have been exchanging e-mails for a week. I'm supposed to meet her in a few hours. I just got a Yahoo Messanger chat box pop up from her, and she says "Oh yeah, forgot to tell you, I'm almost blind".
Warning flag? |

Quoted: Quoted: If that is you in your avatar, then her being almost blind will work to your advantage... ![]() Avatar doesn't do me justice. The girls at work say I'm quite good-looking (in person) As long as they don't add "bless your heart" to the end of it, then you are good to go. |

Quoted: So, you wouldn't see this as being deceptive on her part? Maybe just fear of rejection? Seriously, I would guess fear of rejection. I would bet she has met others online who were turned off once they found out she had a disability. I would go ahead with your date, have fun.... |

So, you wouldn't see this as being deceptive on her part? Maybe just fear of rejection? Maybe a little. I say though to give her a chance. Whats the worst that can happen? You go out once and you are not interested and never go out again. Hell maybe she is the one, only one way to find out. |

Quoted: Quoted: So, you wouldn't see this as being deceptive on her part? Maybe just fear of rejection? Or, it could be such a natural part of her life, that she just doesn't think about it. If that's the case, it's much better than someone wrapped up in self pity. Quoted: Quoted: So, you wouldn't see this as being deceptive on her part? Maybe just fear of rejection?
