What do you do when yor computer will not allow you to close a window/tab?
The X at the top right or the tab scrolled on the bottom. How do I make it close short of turning off the computer?
This is a constant problem lately.

Bring up Task Manager (either ALT+CTRL+DEL then click on the Task Manager button; or right-click the task bar and select Task Manager from the popup menu).
Go to the Applications tab. Click on the offending application. Click on the End Task button.
