i have had a generator with a B&S engine for about 20 years. one thing i never like about it is how loud it is. after 20 years i am thinking of replacing it with a quieter model. So who make a nice a quiet one in the 5-7k watt range

Yup. Not sure if they make one that big. May have to go with 2 ganged.

Honda makes the quietest generators I have ever used. They really are magnificent.

I have an ariens and it's pretty quiet, I don't have much to base it off of though.

I've heard a couple of Hondas. I'm amazed at how quiet they are.
