When I was teenager in the late 80’s, I couldn’t afford to get into the RC hobby, but my step dad was into it. He and his buddies all had rc10’s. Anyway I’ve since acquired his old car, controller, and some spare parts.
The car runs, but the motor gets way too hot. I’m pretty sure it’s geared way too low. I have a smaller pinion gear coming.
My plan is to keep it as vintage as possible and run it occasionally.
I’ve got a couple Trinity motors, Novak T4 esc, futuba magnum jr radio.

Nice.

I had the rc10-t when I was a kid. I’d love to have another and run it 2s.

Ah, those were the days. I saved my allowance money and I cut neighbors Lawns and washed neighbors cars for extra cash. Finally had one after a while and that thing was a blast. Nice looking buggy there, guy.

Don't over pay for the RC10T. It did not sell nearly as well as the RC10 Classic 40th Anniversary did a few months ago. Plenty of places have the RC10T in stock.
