T o all you reloaders , how much do you save reloading , cause ive been buying alot of military surplus and how does your reload .223 compare to black hills etc |

Indeed, I can load match grade ammo for about $0.25 per round where as factory match ammo is $1.00 per round. Plus, my ammo is taloired to my gun. More than cost effective. Also, I can load many more types of bullets than is readily availible with factory ammo. Not to mention that its a nice hobby within a hobby. There is a lot of freedom with regards to ammo when you reload, especially for a cartridge like the .223. |

I have found i can reload 1000 rnds for slightly less than 1/2 of the cost of the same round. The reloads do have the benefit of bieng tuned for the rifle which gives them an edge in accuracy as well. |
