Just picked up a RIGID job box at HD for 259 with 4 casters. 48 inch length.
I have never owned anything like this. I looked at the Greenlee. The damn arm was grating against
the inside every time you open or closed it. WTF?
So, gonna paint the box and cover it with some stuff and disguise it. Ammo, scopes etc along with some pistols going in there, freeing up room in my gunsafe.

That was the best price I found. Is that type of quality typical of Greenlee. Just curious.

those things are nice, but in these days of Cordless angle grinders not sure I trust em to last against a cutoff wheel

I have a Greenlee, no problems with it after about eight years.

The fact that I don't know what a cordless angle grinder is concerns me and makes me doubt my decision making.

I have a Jobsite box that I picked up at an estate sale for $100 bucks and filled the thing up with all my ammo and Mags. It save me so much room in my safe. I'm not too worried about security as my garage is alarmed. Yea, someone could break into it but if they really want anything I have they are going to get it no matter what, unless I'm sanding there armed of course. I'm not sure of the greenlee boxes but I know that their other tools are pretty decent. Is the arm by chance just tweeked and rubbing. is it possible to "tweek" back. I'd say return it if your not happy, I'd also check craigslist or ebay for them used I was going to buy one new and decided to keep an eye out on craigslist and scored after a week of looking.

Watch out for the portable plasma cutter as well.  It would be better to take your ammo out of the boxes and just spread it all over the floor.  This will save you the cost of the box/safe and the robber guy will wlak away since it would take too long to pick them all up.

Might be a good idea. If I completely disassembled all of my guns and spread them out as well. What crook would take time to match up the stuff etc?

I suppose to protect from that, you could place cans of pyrodex in strategic location inside the box.

Just make sure your homeowners is paid up.
