Man, I'm gettin' old.
Off to that deserted island in the sky WWII vet, also. Born in rural northeastern Pennsylvania, Johnson graduated from a private boarding school for orphaned children before joining the Air Force, flying dozens of combat missions in World War II -- including one that turned him into a real-life castaway in the Philippines in 1945. Johnson's B-25 bomber was shot down by heavy flak; he broke both his ankles during the mission, and received the Purple Heart. |

Geez, they say they come in threes, wonder who's next? |

Why not put the man's name in the title of the thread.
As a WWII vet he deserves that, not some assfucked shitstained cutesie thread title. More people would read it. Something like this: Russell Johnson, the Professor on 'Gilligan's Island' and WWII vet passed away.

Died of kidney failure. I'm stunned he couldn't make himself a new one out of a coconut. The man could make anything in the world out of coconuts...except a transmitter. http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb195/gmerch3/intelligence.jpg In all fairness, he was a Marine Biologist, not an Engineer. |
