Got it today as a B-day gift. It is pretty good. I like how you need to use the iron's to shoot. Make's me giddy inside. Kinda high on the gore factor. Legs and arms getting blown up. If you have a chance snag a sniper rifle. That is the true meaning of fun :) Tank play just adds to the fun. Let me know if anyone plays the game. We will conquer!!! |

If you want cooperative ROOST teamplay without dedicating time to a clan join Iron Crescendo. Campaign oriented war with teams for both sides, but the best part is everyone jumping on Teamspeak together and actually planning and organizing. The battles usually take place on the weekend, and you play as much as you want. It's all on the forums Iron Crescendo EDIT: and its free BTW the more you play ROOST the more addictive and awesome it gets |
I think its well worth it, but this weekend there's a free trial so try it and then buy it if you likey. redorchestragame.com/ Info is on that page in the middle |
i like it but damn I really really suck. I need to get a better comp to parts of the game really look like ass on machine. plays fine online but i had to turn everything down to medium/low. oh well dont have the money now. Maybe around Xmas ill get it and upgrade my comp. I love the realism. shoot someone with the mosin or the k98 and they stay down. |

I don't have a problem with the graphics and sound... Some things could look better, like water, and its not as polished looking as the source or BF2 engine is, but the fun and realistic gameplay more than makes up for it IMO. ETA: Actually the resolution and detail is supposed to be better than source, just the lighting is different. Source always looks like plastic toy figures IMO. The problem with the free week is that its packed with noobs who don't know what's what (because of the learning curve) and it causes most of the games to be a lot less intense as they usually are when full of veterans. |
